You did an awesome job on your Master bedroom . Love the clean color combination and relaxed feel. The bathroom is lovely as well. I have to tell you that I am really in love with “the girls”. What a perfect pose. I’m pretty new at the blogging thing but have our first giveaway going on right now. You may want to hop over to my blog and check it out. I’ve just signed up to follow yours!

Lovely, thanks for sharing. Love it all, and the artwork that reminds you of your adorable pups. Can you tell me where you got the rug for your room? I’m looking for something neutral like this for our master bedroom. Thanks!
    Erin

    Hi Erin,
I’m still trying to find the invoice from our rug. It was a carpet I selected and had it cut to fit the room. Grat way to create a custom look at a great price! I will keep you posted. I suggest going by a flooring store, they should all carry a solid with a trellis pattern.

  9. Erin June 23, 2010 at 11:11 AM #

Where did you find the artwork in the bathroom? Love it! The entire room is just gorgeous!!

  10. studioten25 June 23, 2010 at 4:00 PM #

    Hi Erin,
The art in the Master Bathroom came from Lam Lee Home. I purchased them over a year ago so I’m not even sure if they are still available.
    Thanks!

Hi! I love your blog! I had a quick question about the duvet I recently purchased the same one and was wondering if you could tell me what kind of duvet you got to put inside of it. I have a synthetic down blanket in it now but it seems to be a little lack luster! Thanks!

  12. studioten25 June 24, 2010 at 10:07 AM #

    Hi Laura,
I’m so glad you love the blog! I use Pacific Pillows for all of my duvet inserts and pillows. They carry the same items used in many luxury hotels!
    http://www.pacificpillows.com/ridoduc.html
I have the insert from the Ritz Carrolton Collection. You can purchase them in different weight options, depending on the time of year or how warm you like your sleep temperature.
Since it is so hot in Texas right now, we have the light weight insert in our duvet.
I’m sure you will find something you love!

This might be a weird question, but what size is your bed and what size West Elm duvet did you get?
A few of the duvets I have been looking at run small so you have to size up. I dont want to order the wrong size.
Love your bedroom! I have been wanting to re-do my room and am going to use yours as inspiration.

  19. studioten25 July 22, 2010 at 6:38 PM #

Hi! Our bed is a king and so is the duvet. I purchased my insert from pacific pillows and use the corner clips to keep it from shifting! Hope that helps. So glad we could inspire you!

Great Blog…. Lots of good ideas…. Can you tell me where you got your artwork in the bathroom. I love the patterns. Thanks.

  21. studioten25 August 13, 2010 at 8:48 AM #

    Hi Fran!
They are from Lam Lee Home. I’m not sure if they are even available anymore, I purchased them over a year ago. The are hand blown glass pieces mounded on metallic wood pieces. They are stunning and totally make the bathroom.
Thanks for stopping by and reading the blog!!!

Gorgeous! I almost the exact bedroom set. It definitely feels heavy in our room. I love the ideas of adding mirrors to the top and crystal pulls.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your master bedroom!!! I will be stealing a few ideas from you if you don’t mind. Where did you get your curtain rods? I love their clean lines. Thanks for the inspiration!

  24. studioten25 August 26, 2010 at 9:08 AM #

    Hi Shelly!
Thank you so much, the curtain rods came from Crate and Barrel. They were easy to install too. I wanted something minimal and sleek because the room is small.

Hi! I came over from The Lettered Cottage. I just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE your master bedroom redo! It’s so light, airy, crisp, and warm all at the same time, which I think is hard to pull off. I haven’t perused the rest of your blog yet, but you can bet I’ll be doing that now!

    Hi,
I LOOOVE this room. Im so untalented a decorating, I will just have to copy it as is! I was wondering where you got your nightstands and dresser?

  28. studioten25 September 19, 2010 at 6:59 PM #

The dresser is from Ikea and night stands were my husband’s pre-marriage. I changed the pulls on the night stands to a glass knob and had mirrors cut for the tops to help open up the room.

I love love love this~ it’s my inspiration for redoing my bedroom. Calm, and serene yet still has some color and funk. Do you mind sharing the fabric on the pillows and also is that just a quilt under the West Elm duvet? Thanks so much! love your blog!

Your master bedroom turned out stunning! I absolutely love it! Thanks so much for linking up to my very first Sweet Skills Sunday, I hope you come back, I’d love to see more of your design work!

  34. Smitha December 21, 2010 at 10:03 PM #

Your master bedroom is gorgeous. Is the West Elm chair in the corner of your bedroom comfortable. I am in desperate need of two accent chairs for our hearth room and these look great, but I also want them to be comfortable. Thanks.

  35. studioten25 December 22, 2010 at 8:20 AM #

Hi Smitha, I love the chairs from West
Elm! We have them in our living room too and use them every day. The
fabric is holding up pretty good with the dogs too. I did Scotch Guard
them to help with stains and dirt. I think they have the chair in other
fabrics too. You can always have them re-upholstered down the road because
the shape and size of the chair is just perfect!

Hi, I came over from the lettered cottage and just love your room! I am getting ready to paint our room and was looking for a nice white to paint our ceiling, would you mind sharing the color and sheen of the white paint you used on your ceiling? Thank you!

    Rachel

  39. studioten25 January 13, 2011 at 8:46 PM #

    Hi Rachel,
We used Benjamin Moore’s Dove White for all of the ceilings, mouldings, doors and cabinets. The ceiling is a latex egg shell finish. The mouldings and cabinets are an oil base with a low sheen. Oil base is easy to wipe down too so it’s perfect for cabinets and doors! Good luck with your painting venture!

Hi, there. Just wanted to say thanks for posting this great update. I’m in the middle of specing new paint colors for my living/dining/kitchen/bedroom and Rainwashed is one that I chose. Now I know how wonderful it will all look thanks to your gorgeous photos. Also, I have to say I also bought that pintuck duvet because of this post, so West Elm and Sherwin Williams ought to give you a kickback. 😉

  41. studioten25 January 24, 2011 at 7:13 PM #

Hi Larissa, Wow! I’m so happy that you loved the room. Good luck with your new changes, would love to see pics.

    Hi Abbe,
This is my first time blogging and I’m in the process of a redo of my house and starting with my master, your bedroom is my inspiration! I bought the rainwashed paint from SW and gonna get started. Love your site and your beautiful bedroom, sounds like you are going to have lots of replicas all over, I’m from Canada!
Thanks so much for the inspiration, Lori

    Hi!

Love your bedroom – it’s beautiful! Can you possibly tell me where you got the two large dog pictures hanging on the wall (saw the picture via the Honey We’re Home blog)? I love them!
